From Panache Digital Games:
Set in a supernatural version of Amsterdam, the game follows Noa, a witch tasked with tracking down the Originals, powerful entities hiding among the city's inhabitants. Alongside her feline companion Aaron, players investigate, explore and confront these mysterious beings in a world where history and the occult intertwine.
The game will continue to evolve throughout Early Access, with new content planned and player feedback helping the team refine and expand the experience.
A new 30-minute documentary tracing the journey of 1666: Amsterdam, from its earliest beginnings to its Early Access launch on August 25, 2026.
The documentary follows Creative Director Patrice Désilets from his early days at Ubisoft and the origins of the idea to the creation of Panache Digital Games and the team's efforts to bring the project to life.
Through behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with the developers, the film looks at the challenges faced along the way, the decisions that shaped the game, and the people who worked to make it happen.
