The release date trailer showcases The Stranger exploring a ruined apartment block in post-apocalyptic Moscow, highlighting the raw gameplay, environmental detail, kinetic combat, and the technological advances that have been made to the 4A Engine since 2019’s METRO Exodus. 4A Games’ impressive new gameplay comes just days after METRO 2039 was awarded “Best Visuals” in the gamescom awards and secured the most award nominations of any title at the show.
