From Pearl Abyss:
Pearl Abyss revealed the upcoming updates schedule for Black Desert Mobile during the 2026 Heidel Ball, highlighting updates focused on faster progression, streamlined content and an improved gameplay experience. These updates center on reducing progression barriers for both new and veteran Adventurers, and future update will boost rewards from Knowledge-based content, including Constellations, Boss Rush and Alyaelli's Rift, cutting the time required for Knowledge progression by more than 50%.

Pearl Abyss also announced Genesis Gear, a new Nebular-grade equipment tier coming in a future update. Crafted from +9 or higher Blackstar gear and materials obtained in the upcoming Ulukita region, Genesis Gear will inherit enhancement-based stats from existing equipment. On July 14, the Combat Power requirement for obtaining Kharazad Accessories will also be lowered, making high-end gear more accessible.
Beginning Aug. 4, the game will streamline its content by consolidating overlapping systems and introducing rotation schedules for selected PvE and PvP activities. Pearl Abyss will also revamp Node War and Siege War, adding new strategic objectives, expanded rewards and more dynamic large-scale battles. A public test is planned for August.
Today's update also launches Season 2, allowing players to progress at their own pace while enabling existing characters to become seasonal characters for the first time. In addition, Skill Sigil improvements introduce several quality-of-life enhancements, including automatic Sigil equipment and easier preset sharing.
To celebrate the summer season, Black Desert Mobile also kicks off the Dragon Palace event, featuring limited-time activities, exclusive rewards, and special events for new and returning players.
