Smilegate has opened the pre-registration page for its upcoming collectible RPG, MIRESI: Invisible Future (MIRESI), developed by Control9 (Co-CEOs Soon-gu Cho and Se-woong Kwon), in celebration of the game's participation in Anime Expo 2026.
Alongside the launch of pre-registration, Smilegate will also host special events for Anime Expo attendees. At Anime Expo 2026, visitors will have the opportunity to try MIRESI for the first time in North America. Special rewards will also be offered to attendees who complete pre-registration at the booth.
MIRESI is the latest title from Control9, a studio founded by key developers behind titles such as "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE" and "Seven Knights 2," and is planned for release as a cross-platform title on both PC and mobile. The game has also drawn attention for its art direction, led by illustrator Hyung-sup Kim (Hyulla), who previously contributed to multiple subculture game titles including "Goddess of Victory: NIKKE."
Set in a world where time and space intersect, MIRESI follows the story of the protagonist, the "Councilor," as they journey alongside captivating heroines such as "Ende," "Tieria," and "Itsuka" to save an era on the brink of destruction. Its combat system further deepens immersion by incorporating the game's time-and-space theme directly into gameplay. Featuring real-time, turn-based combat where character placement and movement serve as core strategic elements, MIRESI offers a distinct and engaging battle experience.

The official launch schedule for MIRESI has yet to be announced, with additional service details to be revealed at a later date.
