From Hooded Horse:
Covering immediate plans for the next few months, as well future goals for early access, there’s plenty for current and future players to get excited about.
This comes as the game hits another fantastic milestone – Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era has now sold over 1 million copies within its first month. Feedback from the game’s wildly successful launch identified items such as Teamplay mode, a rebalance of Hero skills, and further improvements to the random map generator as initial targets for development, but on top of that:
- Observer mode, Elite Class reworks, and improvements to matchmaking will come later in the year.
- General goals for early access include introducing Underground terrain, Map Editor improvements, Ironman mode for the campaign, and more!
- Long-term goals for early access include completing the single-player campaign, adding map-sharing support, and introducing a new PvE mode.
- There will also be regular updates introducing everything from new content (heroes, spells, creatures, etc.), UI improvements, AI tweaks, and plenty of quality-of-life support based on community feedback.
The contents of this roadmap are subject to revisions as the game evolves, and additional updates to the development plan will be communicated as development progresses.
