Based on hunter feedback, Monster Hunter Now’s Friend Link Token Consumption timing will be receiving an update. Moving forward, Friend Link Tokens will no longer be consumed when a hunt begins. Instead, the items will only be consumed upon successfully slaying or repelling the monster. If the hunt fails, no Friend Link Token will be consumed.
In tandem with the update, a Friend Link Special Quest is arriving in Monster Hunter Now, encouraging players to hunt together with friends from afar. Players can take on quests that task them with slaying monsters and more using Friend Link. By completing these quests, they’ll be able to earn exclusive stickers illustrated by popular artist Ryosuke Takeuchi available only through this event.
