From Blue Isle Studios:
A newly updated version of the Guardians of the Wild Sky demo is available as part of Steam Next Fest, introducing several new additions designed to deepen creativity, replayability, and community engagement.
Alongside the core survival, exploration, and airship-building experience, the updated demo now includes new wood and stone structural foundation pieces, giving players greater stability and flexibility when designing bases, vessels, and skybound creations.
To celebrate the event, players who jump into the demo during Next Fest will also unlock an exclusive in-game reward: the Majestic Sea Whale commemorative plaque, marking them as early explorers who took to the skies during the festival.
Blue Isle Studios has also launched a limited-time building contest, inviting players to submit functional blueprints across categories such as Best Flying Vessel, Best Compact Design, and Best Creative Design. Winning builds will be turned into permanent in-game schematics available to all players in the final game, with creators credited and invited to future playtests.
The demo continues to showcase the early stages of Guardians of the Wild Sky, featuring:
- Single-player and co-op for up to 10 players
- Custom worlds with an 8-hour play window per world
- Character progression up to level 20
- Multiple explorable islands reachable by airship
- Extensive building tools and survival crafting systems
This updated demo is designed to highlight the game’s core loop of exploration, creature companionship, crafting, and skyfaring creativity ahead of its Early Access launch later this year.
