The ever-busy crew at Panic are excited to announce that a new Playdate Update showcase will be airing on November 6, 2025 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6PM BST on Panic’s YouTube channel and on live.panic.com. Ahead of the holiday season and in the midst of the Playdate Catalog Fall Sale, the showcase will provide a sneak peek at upcoming games for Playdate and look back on some of the stand out titles of 2025 players can pick up at a discounted price. The Playdate Catalog Fall Sale is currently ongoing and will run until November 13, 10 AM PT.
In a first in Playdate’s history, Playdate will be in stock and available for purchase for the holidays, and starting on November 3, customers in the United States can receive free shipping on their Playdate until November 30. Tariff fees will also be waived during this period. Customers in the USA who order within that window can expect their Playdate to arrive in time before Christmas.
Tne item on sale is Playdate Season 2, which launched earlier this year and exceeded Panic’s expectations, as of now having sold more than 15,000 units and can be picked up at a discounted price for the first time at $31 (normally $39).
Over 80,000 Playdates have been sold to date. Playdate is available to order at shop.play.date for $229.
